Smile Reconstructions
“My teeth are breaking! I don’t have any pain, but it hurts me to look at them! Even my grandchildren make fun of the different colors of my teeth. I want this changed!” This mature male patient was in an ongoing state of fixing broken teeth. We presented him with a complete approach for his health and gave him a stable and aesthetically pleasing result. He recently reported, “At my high school reunion, I had the best teeth and looked much younger than my peers!”
This 17-year-old male with chipped front teeth and excess spacing on the upper jaw was interested in closing these spaces. His lower jaw was slightly larger than the upper jaw, resulting in the excess spacing. His front teeth were also chipped. We performed clear aligner therapy to create distance between his lower and upper front teeth, followed by conservative ceramic veneers to close the spaces and increase smile dominance!

This “20-something” male patient had moderate wear from grinding his teeth. The wear started in the front and began to travel backward, damaging his back teeth. The patient wanted to replace his missing tooth structure but did not want to be numbed or have any tooth structure removed. We decided to proceed with eight resin veneers, which were completed chairside with no anesthetic. The process was completely additive with no change in supporting tooth structure.

A mature male came to us with chipped, discolored, and worn teeth. He was discouraged from seeing dentists because, at every visit, they found something that needed to be fixed. He was in a constant state of repair. This can happen when something is out of harmony, sometimes caused by missing teeth or a modified jaw joint. We completed a thorough analysis, which allowed for proper engineering and planning to stabilize his new bite and smile.

This mature female visited us, needing help to open her mouth and chew. She spent a lifetime in a constant state of repair (always needing dental treatment) and wanted to find a solution and stability for her dentition to live her best life. After a thorough analysis of her dental history and goals, we referred her for an evaluation to discuss surgical temporomandibular joint (TMJ) options. After surgery, a new bite was created for her using lab-fabricated PMMA-bonded overlays and ceramic crowns for the front teeth.

This mature male was interested in enhancing his smile and stabilizing his bite. He had noticed that his teeth had gotten smaller over the past few decades and that he was having issues with crowns coming off or his back teeth breaking. The patient had moderate wear on his front teeth. The back teeth were not protected due to those changes. We reset the patient’s bite through proper analysis and engineering. He stabilized his dentition by completing crowns on his upper jaw.

Ortho Correction
Our patient had a malocclusion for his entire life. He had been informed by other orthodontists and dentists that he required jaw surgery. After carefully examining his jaw’s relationship to his skull, Dr. Langenbach placed permanent veneers and clear aligner therapy on just six of his teeth. Transformative without the need for intrusive surgery!
This female patient had an anterior crossbite (her front teeth were crossed) and fractured front teeth. After 15 months of clear aligner therapy, followed by bonding of chipped front teeth with resin, this is what her smile looks like now.

This male patient repeatedly fractured his front teeth. He was a heavy clencher. We used clear aligner therapy to optimize his bite, followed by the repair of fractured front teeth with resin and the delivery of a nightguard to disperse bite forces at night and/or any time the patient feels tense.
