Debbie – Office Manager
Meet Debbie, our dedicated Office Manager, who works hand in hand with Drs. Langenbach and Thomas. She is instrumental in managing the doctors’ schedules and ensuring exceptional patient care, guiding each patient from their initial consultation through every step of their journey. With decades of experience in dentistry—beginning as a Registered Dental Assistant and advancing to her current role—Debbie’s expertise is unmatched. Her enthusiasm for her work creates a warm, motivating environment that benefits both staff and patients alike, making her an invaluable asset to our practice. We are genuinely excited to have her as part of our team! Debbie takes immense pride in watching patients return for follow-up visits, their faces lighting up with satisfaction over their beautiful, healthy smiles.
Beyond her professional commitments, she treasures moments with her husband, a high school sweetheart, and their two sons. Whether traveling to new places, cooking delicious meals, or hosting family and friends, Debbie effortlessly balances her work and personal life, bringing joy to everyone around her.
Mary – Patient Coordinator
Mary has been a dedicated professional in the dentistry field for over 30 years, starting her journey as a chairside assistant. After ten years, she transitioned to the administrative side of dentistry, where she found her true passion in helping people reach their goals. For the past four years, Mary has thrived while working with Drs. Langenbach and Thomas. She values their unwavering commitment to patient health and takes immense pride in being part of a team that consistently delivers outstanding work.
As a newlywed, Mary is the proud mother of three children and a delighted grandmother to seven grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. Her weekends are filled with excitement as she attends their sporting events. In her spare time, Mary and her husband enjoy exploring new restaurants, attending concerts, and tackling DIY projects together.
Washma – Registered Dental Hygienist
Washma attended the University of California, Irvine, where she graduated with a double major in Biology and Psychology. She has always been drawn to the healthcare field, fueled by her passion and desire to help others. What sets Washma apart is her ability to forge strong personal bonds with her loyal patients. They trust her not only with their oral health but also as a friend. Understanding that visits to the dentist can be stressful, she strives to ensure that each patient leaves her chair not only with a clean smile but also feeling happy.
Outside of her professional life, Washma embraces her role as a loving wife and mother. She cherishes the moments spent with her family, whether they are outdoors, cooking meals at home, or exploring new destinations around the world. Washma’s diverse experiences, combined with her sincere and heartfelt approach to both her professional and personal life, make her a remarkable individual who enriches the lives of those around her.
Rachel – Registered Dental Hygienist
Rachel has built a solid foundation in the dental field, starting her career as a registered dental assistant with a focus on orthodontics. After six years, she decided to enhance her skills by pursuing further education, ultimately earning her degree as a registered dental hygienist from Concorde Career College. Rachel’s drive for excellence stems from her deep passion for helping others, and she consistently advocates for her patients’ well-being. Her primary objective is to empower patients by ensuring they are well-informed about their oral health and the role it plays in overall body health, fostering a supportive and educational environment.
As a devoted single mother to a wonderful 5-year-old daughter, Rachel prioritizes her family while also dedicating time to her personal interests. She actively participates in fitness routines, enjoys beach outings, hiking, camping, and traveling, and embraces outdoor activities. Her commitment to health and fitness is complemented by the occasional indulgence in spa days for self-care.
Patty – Registered Dental Hygienist
Patty’s journey in dentistry began as an assistant, sparking her passion for oral health and motivating her to further her education. She proudly graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1985 with a B.A. in Dental Hygiene, and she has been making a difference as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1995. In 2004, Patty joined Drs. Thomas and Langenbach, where she not only finds great joy in her work but also considers it a privilege to be part of such a dedicated team. Her commitment to dental preventative care is unwavering, as she takes the time to thoroughly explain treatments and procedures to every patient who seeks her guidance.
Beyond her professional life, Patty cherishes her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother, loving her two grandsons and eagerly awaiting the arrival of a third! She fills her time with meaningful volunteer work at her church, nurturing her garden, and engaging in tennis and pickleball. Patty also enjoys traveling to spend precious moments with her children and grandchildren. With her extensive experience and heartfelt dedication, Patty is a true advocate for the health and well-being of her patients.
Jessica – Registered Dental Assistant
Jessica, a proud San Diego County native, has always been driven to make a difference. While initially studying Criminology in college, her experience with orthodontic treatment opened her eyes to the profound impact dental care has on overall well-being. Inspired by the exceptional care she received and the transformative results, Jessica shifted her focus to become a dental assistant. She is dedicated to empowering patients to recognize the vital role that dentistry plays in their health. In her free time, Jessica is not just a devoted mother of twin boys; she loves taking them on hikes and creating memories with her family.
Trent – Registered Dental Assistant
Trent is a skilled registered dental assistant who excels in providing exceptional patient care. He is currently advancing his expertise in oral health by pursuing a degree in Biology, showcasing his unwavering commitment to professional development.
In his leisure time, Trent loves the outdoors, tackling camping trips and exhilarating dirt-biking adventures. When he’s not conquering nature, he enjoys quality moments at home with his beautiful wife, Kira, and their beloved tuxedo cat, Benny. They always find ways to have fun and relax together!
Michele – Registered Dental Assistant
Michele’s journey began in the heart of the Midwest, where she was born and raised in Iowa. In 2019, she made a bold move to San Diego with her family, bringing her extensive dental expertise along. Her career kicked off in 2011 as a registered and certified dental assistant, and she later earned the prestigious title of Iowa Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Michele is not just passionate about dentistry; she is a passionate advocate for high-quality healthcare, tirelessly working to elevate the standards and regulations within the dental assistant profession.
Michele’s greatest fulfillment comes from making a meaningful impact in her patients’ lives through exceptional dental care. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she is a dedicated wife and mother of two, keeping her family busy with their children’s activities in baseball, softball, and golf. When not cheering from the sidelines, Michele enjoys quality time at the dog park with their two dogs, camping under the stars, or unwinding at the beach. Her commitment to her family and career showcases a life dedicated to improving lives, both at home and in the community.
Mariam – Registered Dental Assistant
Mariam has over 25 years of experience in the dental field. She previously worked in a dental practice in the Bay Area, where she discovered her passion for patient care across all aspects of dentistry. Mariam takes pride in working closely with patients to provide exceptional treatment and ensure a positive experience at every visit. In her free time, she enjoys nature and spending time with her family.
Marjan – Dental Technician
Marjan made the exciting move from Toronto, Canada, to San Diego at the end of 2011, embracing a new chapter in her life as she started her family. With years of experience in healthcare and fitness, she brings invaluable knowledge and passion to everything she does.
As a devoted mother of two boys, aged 9 and 12, she understands the importance of a healthy lifestyle and positive role modeling. Marjan enjoys reading, traveling, working out, dancing, and creating lasting memories with her children. Her dedication to teaching, healthcare, and fitness drives her to inspire others to lead fulfilling, healthy lives.
Damon – Sterilization Technician
Damon, a native of Rancho Bernardo, began working for Drs. Langenbach and Thomas two years ago. He has enjoyed learning about healthcare and the important role that dentistry plays in maintaining overall health. Currently, he attends Palomar College, where he also plays football. In his spare time, Damon enjoys playing video games with friends, listening to music, traveling, and working out.
